When I go from my desk monitor to my laptop screen, the timenet task list window is saved at a size that's too tall, so I can't easily get to the quick add button.

I also can't access the drag corner to resize the window.

Is there a way to get around this?

Or, can add the window zoom button to quickly resize the window to fit the screen?

Sure, there is an option under the Window menu to Reset Window Placement (Command+Shift+R). This is in place for just such an occasion. In addition, I don't know why the zoom button is disabled — I will get that fixed and put out an update as well.

If you have any other questions, please let me know!

This may be related...

In some circumstances, the window for a project is in a "hyper thin mode".  I think it might have to do with switching between single screen & external monitor mode  -- the window gets compressed somehow, and locked into this size ratio.

The window is about 3 pixels wide, and there's no way to expand it, grab it, or otherwise access it.  Seriously, the window is a sliver with a shadow.

"Reset window placement" doesn't help.  It just moves the hyper thin window to another place on the screen.

Also not effective for getting it expanded to a usable width:

If the menu item Window > Zoom were enabled, that might work.  But it's not enabled.

This has made TimeNet pretty much unusable for me, because I can't get to the project to add items.

I can email you  screen grab if necessary.

Version = 3.9.29

Update:

With random clicking around the bottom of the window, it spontaneously expanded to ~300x300px.

At least now I can use it...

I have no idea what "control" I might have clicked to cause this expansion.  I think it was a single-click, because I was not clicking in rapid succession.

That is very strange indeed. I'll make sure that the Reset Window Placement option not only moves the window to the screen, but also resets the height/width of the window to the default. That will solve the problem should the issue come up again in the future.

I should have the fix ready today, I'll let you know when it is ready.
