I sent you a message, but I don't know if it reached you. I've posted the following, but cannot tell how frequently anyone reads this forum. Your input and comments would be appreciated. Thanks. Dave Clark,
dclark@clarklawfirm.com,
www.clarklawfirm.comI downloaded and paid for TimeNet Pro, and now I'm trying to use it.
I've looked through the manual, and it does not appear that different employees can bill at dfferent hourly rates. I entered three employees, myself, my sometime associate lawyer, and my legal assistant and tried to give them each different rates. It is traditional and accepted in law firms in USA that each of these people will bill at a different hourly rate -- FOR ALL CATEGORIES OF WORK AND NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO. But it seems your program will only accept a single rate for all employees, that the differentiation comes about from different categories.
This is really important because there is no way to distinguish, say, REVIEW or CORRESPONDENCE and get the differentiation onto the invoice when done by different people.
Thanks for your help.
