How to insert current date in invoice?

Is there a tag to insert the current date as the Invoice date (instead of the project "finished" date)? I didn't see it listed in the manual.

I'll just admit that other than typing it in manually in TextEdit when it generates, I don't think so.

Yes, it's the <invoice-date> tag. You can add it to any invoice template. You can see it in action in the Professional template.
