Hi there,

I installed 3.9.21 and it is now not listing all my clients. When I click "client" in the upper left of the main window, then click "cancel" I see a brief flash of the missing clients in the main window, but then they disappear again.

I loaded the older version up again and it does present my clients correctly. However, when I went to work on a project, it could not find my 15 or so  hourly rates.

When I reloaded the newest version the clients still are not showing up and the hourly rates are also not showing up. The hourly rates may have been affected by the new version (as I hadn't tried to work on a project with the new version).

Lastly, and least importantly, the startup tips won't stop appearing.

Any ideas where the clients are, and most importantly, where do you store the preference information for rates?

Thanks,
Misha

Misha,

This is very strange, no one else has reported this and I can't seem to recreate this bug. Can you possibly email your data folder to us at support(at)applesource.biz? That would be helpful, and we will be glad to take a look and get this sorted out for you by hand ASAP. Thanks!

Thanks for the help on this; redownloading the application seems to have solved the problem. Thanks also for salvaging my rates information from my backup folder; very helpful. Is the name of that file secret or can you divulge it for people to use to look for that preferences file in the Time Net Data folder?

The preferences file is ".prefs" and is located in the TimeNet Data folder.
