On my custom invoices, the time amounts and dollar amounts for each task do not quite match. For example,  Time= 03.05.38  = 3 hrs 5 min 38 sec = 3.093889 hours
 x $45 per hour = $139.225, yet TimeNet puts $139.03 on the invoice.

It works better if I consider the last unit of time as hundreths of a minute instead of seconds:
Time= 03.05.38  = 3 hrs 5.38 min = 3.089667 hours
 x $45 per hour = $139.035, and TimeNet puts $139.03 on the invoice.

However, when I add up all the times, it doesn’t match the total time <tsubtotal>   on the invoice unless I consider the times as hours.minutes.seconds.

Bottom line: if I take the total time <tsubtotal>   on the invoice multiplied by my hourly rate (which is the same for all tasks), I should get the total cost <invoice-total>. It’s fairly close, but not quite right.

I always thought it was close enough--usually within a dollar or so every month. But now I have a fussy client who insists that everything add up correctly.

Anyone have a fix for this? Which is more correct, the time or the dollar amount? Of the times, which is more correct: hours,minutes,seconds or hours,minutes,hundreths?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will be sure to do some testing around and see what's going on with this glitch.
