More to the point, it is advisable for the administrator to threaten all users not to change a timekeeper name.

One of our users changed their name by adding a middle initial.  This user then raised the alarm when all of their time was not showing up on timekeeper reports.  After some digging, I discovered that timekeeper reports include the timekeepers that are presently entered into the system (i.e. timekeeper with middle initial as opposed to timekeeper sans middle initial).

Please bear in mind that reporting in this manner completely makes sense and is NOT a bug.

Just wanted to pass along this tip for any and all admins out there with end users.  Good times... Grin

Ah, this is a good point. I wonder if when a Timekeeper is changed, a scan should be performed of all matters and an automatic find-replace of old name to new name could then occur within the data.

This is a known issue (not really an issue, but a known "thing" that makes perfect logical sense, as it were) and I'm glad you brought it up. I could use some crafty coding skills to prevent this from being an issue in the future.
