Okay guys,

I've got a list of bug fixes and small feature enhancements to tide you all over until the big 3.3 update around Thanksgiving. If all goes well, this release should be out tomorrow sometime. Don't quote me on that. :p

Thanks again to everyone for posting your feedback and helping me pin down these vicious pesky buggers. Now it's time to get the RAID and take care of business. I smell an all-nighter!

When I go out for coffee it's always Dutch Bros. or Bad Ass Coffee. When at home it's Pete's Coffee or some other esoteric and random type that I pickup at the Market of Choice to try. I'm somewhat of a coffee snob, so I've perfected the art of sniff-testing the bags at the store and making it at home. I like my coffee just the way I am. Strong and black. (Er, no wait...)

That being said, here's one of my favorite quotes:

"I put instant coffee in the microwave and almost went back in time."

I try. :p

Meanwhile, it's around 6am and things are progressing nicely. I'm hoping this release will be finished today. Wish me luck. Need more coffee... *rubs his eyes*

It's out. Details:

Quote
- Bug with client's name and address not showing up on invoices fixed
- Clearing logo in prefs would sometimes delete the original - fixed
- Manager no longer shows projects from deleted clients
- Show Finished/Unfinished popup in Main Window now works with search box
- Reports - flat fee total bug fixed
- Added Show Overdue Invoices menu
- Hold option while selecting networking in File menu to reset network folder - now you can have multiple networked folders and easily switch between them
- Invoice numbering by added 2 instead of 1 with each new project - fixed
- Random invoice numbering is now *actually* random *all* of the time

Special thanks to Ryan J. and Christine for their help with fixing the invoice bugs!

Good morning

Small problem...I've attached a screen shot of an error ("NilObject...") we've been getting. It seems to be with just one client folder. Last night I made a new folder for this client, with a new name (so it wouldn't pull in the current jobs), manually remade the jobs that were in that client folder. Now, it works fine on my computer (main), but the other workstations are getting the aforementioned error. This error has occurred in two different spots: it will appear on one station after the timer has been running for about a minute, another station will get it when they pause and go to save it.

All other jobs seem to run and save fine.

Hope the coffee is brewin'.....

What is the name of the client?

Also have you checked permissions on that client's folder/timesheet files?

Service 1 FCU...that seemed to have worked. The permissions were set to Read Only on that particular folder. So either I didn't click "Apply to all..." or it didn't take effect on that folder. Anyway, its working now! Thanks man!

No problem, glad it's working. I've gotta figure out a way to modify the permissions on those folders automatically. I hadn't even thought about this but I could see where it would be a problem. Thanks again for having the insight to figure this out on your own and help Jesse and myself figure out that beast of a bug!  Smiley

P.S.

I've modified them to read the following in 3.3: (I figured some more people/things needed credit..)
